From an early age I loved to draw. As far back as I can remember, I’d draw fashion pictures out
of magazines and sketch pictures of animals from books. After Art College, I went on to study at
Central St Martins Art College in London where I specialised in Printed Textiles. I now illustrate
using a range of mediums; crayon/pen and ink, collage, watercolour and digital imagery.
The initial inspiration to produce my first greetings card collection was Daniel; my family pet
terrier – who was captured in endless family photographs. His cheeky (and sometimes haughty) character
influenced the themes depicted on many of the cards and provided a ‘story’ to accompany the illustrations.
As well as Daniel, Harry (the cat) was a similarly superior character and my sketches personify them both
in a way that all pet owners can relate to. Nowadays my themes range from the Surrey countryside, where
I’m based, to interior/ fashion trends and of course family memories.

Since my first collection I have gone onto produce other ranges and illustrations featuring cats and dogs,
as well as other animals. My work has been featured in magazines, calendars and on ceramics, gift-wrap and
cards. Focusing on licensing and freelance illustration, I’m constantly expanding my portfolio into other
areas and never know what I’ll be drawing next.
I hope you enjoy the website and would love to hear from you.
